The Alternative Vision is an online magazine dedicated to the interpretation of art.

There are no rulebooks, guidelines or directions to follow in order to interpret an artwork. No right or wrong.
By the articles I write, I encourage anyone to let go of misconceptions about art. I often felt like I needed to know the author’s history and context in detail before daring to look at a painting or a sculpture I was attracted to, before realising that I was allowed to feel and think anything.

I simply describe what I see, feel and understand in front of an artwork. Art is the door to our imagination.
