She sits on the bench made of stone, and cries. For now, it feels like everything surrounding her life is hard and cold, for she cannot feel the light in the sun, the warmth in people, and the comfort in her tears. She thought this was caused by the weariness of the long working days, but she has delved into despair and doesn’t understand how anything will get better.

An old lady who was knitting not far, saw the woman’s distress and now attempts to share her pain. She has been watching the lady grow and go through life up until this day. In the small village where they live, there is nothing to do apart from getting a meaningless job, marry, raise children, and wait for a fatigued husband to come back home with more money worries each day. This lady had dreams and creativity running through her veins, this life just doesn’t suit her. She tries to find happiness in vain everywhere she lays her eyes on.

The sun sets, the day is almost over, but sorrow doesn’t go to sleep, and doesn’t leave a troubled soul. She has been crying all day, sometimes without shedding a tear, keeping it all inside. Exhausted, she hopes to lay her head on the pillow, close her eyes, appreciate the rest of her tears filling her eyelids, find in the salt water reassurance, and finally feel the warmth of her sadness shed in her body, leading her to obscurity and relief.
